Practice-Informed Research

Knowing what AI governance looks like — and doesn't look like — inside organizations actually deploying AI directly informs my research on the principles-to-practice gap and what meaningful accountability requires.

Founding Responsible AI Lead, JP Morgan Chase & Co. Helped build the firm's responsible AI practice from the ground up — co-developing ethics review processes, governance frameworks, and accountability structures for AI at scale
Secretary, IEEE 7010-2020 The first AI ethics industry standard ever published — focused on the well-being impacts of autonomous and intelligent systems
Regular engagement with civil society and non-profit organizations on AI accountability and governance — through research partnerships, working group participation, and advisory input on public interest projects

Available for consulting, expert witness work, and executive education on AI governance, responsible AI, AI adoption, AI literacy, and synthetic media regulation.
